Xiomara Galindo joined the "MAKING IT!" team since the show's inception. A veteran
reporter and native "Angeleno," she worked on "MAKING IT!" as a correspondent for eight years. Additionally, Xiomara is a special
correspondent and host for many other news and entertainment programs, such as "Good Day L.A.," KTLA's "News at Ten" and Fox's "Hollywood
Christmas Parade."
Xiomara has won an Emmy award for her production honoring 'Hispanic Heritage' and has
received numerous Emmy Award nominations. A strong supporter of education, she is a board member of her local parochial school and is
also involved in Girl Scouts and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
Xiomara holds a bachelors degree in Communications/Journalism with a minor in Political
Science from Saint Mary's College. Fluent in English and Spanish, she is proud of her heritage. Conversant in Italian, Xiomara has
enjoyed traveling to many states and foreign countries, which she feels has broadened her knowledge of people and places. Xiomara lives
in Southern California with her husband and three children. |
