Errol
Smith
is founder and president of Jackstreet Media, a new media venture
firm based in Los Angeles. He consults dozens of new media ventures
in a variety of industries including entertainment, construction,
health care, education, national security, human resources,
franchising and publishing.
Errol
joined the "MAKING IT!" team of reporters in the
fall of 1997, after being featured on the show several times. He has
been nominated for four Emmy Awards since 1998 and received an Emmy
Award in 2003 for his work with “MAKING IT!”
Smith’s accomplishments are distinguished and countless. He is the
author of four books, including a best seller. Articles Errol has
written can be seen in Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times and
the Washington Times. He has experience in radio as a talk show host
for KIEV in Los Angeles for three years. Errol worked for seven
years as a political commentator. He also co-hosted Life and Times
on PBS television. Smith also created and developed the "Nanocasting"
business model for commercializing Internet radio
A deep background in business, start up ventures, traditional media,
e-commerce and business development gives Smith an eclectic skill set
that is well suited to developing innovative business models in the

Smith is a private pilot and a yachtsman. He's married with one
daughter and lives between Los Angeles and the Caribbean.
