What does your business do?

I film motion pictures in Hollywood, we lean towards family oriented movie projects.

When and why did you start the biz?

I started my business because of the passion I have as an Director and Producer, so I decided to start my own production company in 2003 and I have one completed movie out in DVD

What's the toughest part of running your biz?

Funding movie projects, all my projects are small budgets.

What's the most fun part? 

The fun part is when I see the people that I hired, with big smiles, as they work on their profession, and I am glad that I can create jobs, which is what I want to do, and what keeps me going to make movies for all to see.

What's next on the horizon for your biz?

Well what is next for Longroad Entertainment are a slate five movie projects. I am working on preparing them for funding in order to film in 2009. I want to continue this in order to keep a steady as she goes type of level.
 

What advice do you have for others?

The only advice I will give anyone is that when you set out to start a small business or venture on a deal, always and I mean always start a business with the idea of how what you are doing will benefit others. And what opportunities you can open for potential employees. And surround yourself with intellegent people, this is paramount. In filmmaking I found that putting others first works better for me. Of course take care of yourself as well because you are the head and leader of your business. Never ever give up on your dreams and your inspirations. Oh and one final item....be honest.

Real Estate, A Promoter of concerts, sales, University of Houston, Talent Scout, Advertising.

Is there any one person or event in your life that led you to go into business for yourself?

There has always been one person who was my mentor, he always told me to be a soldier and never give up and be honest in business, and this person was the late Mexican film star Antonio Aguilar. As I did work with him off and on seasonal tours for many years in the United States..
